We Are Not for Profit

WikiWaste has similar objectives and ideals to that of Wikipedia - it is not a news platform and does not rely on advertising or subscriptions, nor does it rely on large corporate income to meet its funding requirements.

With this in mind please can we ask you to consider making a donation of £5, £20, £50 or what ever you can to help sustain and develop Wiki Waste. Should you wish to make a large or regular donation or indeed donate time on a more committed basis than approved editor then please get in touch with accounts.

Where your donation will go

Running Costs

Web hosting, bandwidth, maintenance of uploaded databases and office costs - all incredibly tightly managed as a start-up but all the little bits mount up!

Content Development

The early stages have relied on donated time by Monksleigh[1] and other authors, and much of the content will continue to be delivered by volunteer editors. However staff will continue to be needed on a regular basis to develop content and add value for the users, as well as audit and moderate the content to ensure the integrity of the platform and that the Code of Conduct is being followed accordingly.

Surplus

Any surplus funds in any year will be re-deployed to Waste Aid[2].
