Wyvern Waste Services Limited

Wyvern Waste Services Limited was a LAWDC set-up by Somerset County Council in 1991. In 1992, some of the waste disposal assets of Somerset County Council were vested in Wyvern Waste Services. In 2006, Somerset County Council entered into a long-term contract with Viridor for the delivery of waste management services; as part of this contract, Wyvern Waste Services was sold to Viridor. Later in 2006 the company's name was changed to Viridor Waste (Somerset) Ltd.
